Grades

A (Score of 90% - 100%) – This is a passing grade, which represents an individual who has studied and used the material. They also possess the ability to apply the knowledge sufficiently in the Game Development Labs and Homework.

B (Score of 85% - 89%) – This is a passing grade, which represents an individual who is 'average' and may still have issues with the material presented in the lessons and have some difficulty in the Game Development Labs and Homework.

C (Score of 70% - 84%) – This is NOT a passing grade and represents an individual that may understand the 'concept' or 'idea', however lacks in the ability to apply the knowledge in a practical manner.  Further study and practice is suggested.

D-F (Score of 0 - 69%) – This is NOT a passing grade and represents an individual that needs to continue studying, reviewing and practicing the material.

Remember, a 84% or below is not the end of the road, simply the beginning of a wonderful time in training. So, hit the books, watch the videos, study the training material…and practice! You’ll pass the test, for sure!

Walker Boys Studio Certification

wbs unity certification of completionOn completion of the course (above) you will receive an ‘Official’ Walker Boys Studio Certification for Unity 3D Game Development (Three Certificate Styles available).

With this Certificate you will have something new to hang on your wall and show off to friends. :)

Along with that, this Certificate ‘proves’ that you showed commitment to learning, self-motivation to working hard, and a desire to grow your passion as a game developer.

Does the certificate mean anything?

To us, yes. We will be very proud of you and mail you a wonderful certificate to keep. Our goal is to provide a free form of certification for individuals to take and use as a stepping stone for validating their skills in Unity.

Do you have different Certificate Templates to choose from?

We’re glad you asked. Yes, we have three wonderful styles to choose from.

You’re really going to mail me a copy of the certificate?

Yes. You put in a lot of work and should be rewarded for your efforts. If you provide us with a mailing address, you can expect to receive a physical copy of the ‘Official’ WBS Unity Certificate.

Will the rest of the world care about the certificate?

We’re not sure, it hasn’t been done yet. If the Certificate (eventually) takes on any formal shape of ‘Certification’, then it will help to reinforce your working knowledge of Unity and provide developers with even more confidence in your abilities.
